| Paper title: | Energy impact knowledge-based system in building |
| Authors: | Tupamaki O |
| Summary: | The objective of EIKS is to assist in overcoming the barriers that hinder the realisation of opti-mal energy efficiency in buildings - in particular those that relate to the lack of integration in thedesign process. This will be achieved through the development of an initial knowledge- basedassistive information and decision support system (KBS) drawing on best practice and bestavailable technologies. Industry input and feedback on the proposed knowledge-based system(KBS) are being obtained through a number of international thematic workshops in Finland, theNetherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom. |
